The Way of Decrease

While watching John the Baptist ministering for God in the wilderness, the crowd began to wonder if he was someone important, perhaps even the Messiah. But anytime attention was given, he was quick to deflect it to Jesus, the One he preached about and the true Messiah. John understood a great Kingdom principle: God must increase, but we must decrease.
